Carl-Olav Scheible, Managing Director of PayPal UK comments: My time at PayPal has been challenging yet extremely rewarding and I'm delighted to be taking over as head of UK operations. PayPal has a great team and this has helped shape a successful few years and set us up for future growth. We already have a very strong presence in the UK, however we're looking to boost awareness of PayPal and get the hugely popular service more accessible for customers by being able to offer PayPal as a payment method on many more websites.
Replacing Carl as General Manager of the Merchant Services division will be Cameron McLean. Cameron joined PayPal through the acquisition of VeriSign Payment Services in October 2005 and he has over 10 years' payment and transactional services experience.
