Our Client is a leading international processor of credit, debit, commercial, private label, stored value and smart cards. Serving more than 357 million cardholder accounts, 18 million of which are based in Europe, they have delivered advanced technology and enhanced value to many of the world’s leading companies.
A key focus of the role will be the definition and implementation of long term strategic direction for the Programme and Project Delivery function based on the company wider strategy. Client programmes may involve multiple products and platforms. Projects include product launches, ad- hoc projects and development projects.
The job holder must provide effective leadership and direction, and is responsible for building effective relationships, particularly with US colleagues, and at Senior Director level.
You will be responsible for resource management as required by workload and type of activity required by clients, partners and other internal departments.
To succeed in this role you will have previous experience working in Programme/ Project Management roles ideally in a related bank card industry or financial services. You will have Programme/ Project Management formal qualifications ideally Prince 2. Equally important will be your leadership skills. Visa Certificate in Bankcard Management will be desirable.
