Job Description
KEY ACTIVITIES
1. The recruitment, development and retention of customer relationships upon boarding, in line with recruitment and risk policies of the company;
2. Hitting pre-agreed sales targets;
3. The negotiation of terms with customers (current and prospective) which maximises the long term profitability of the company
4. Working with identified and other key contacts with Bank Partners with the intention of maximising potential leads and introductions from current and potential Bank Partner relationships;
5. Develop appropriate relationships with non Bank customers through a developed prospect pipeline, with the intention of profitably acquiring their plastic card business;
6. Accurately pricing new and existing relationships (where appropriate) in line with agreed pricing policy
7. Proactively ensure customer service of the highest standard;
8. Competing all paperwork in an accurate, timely and complete manner;
9. Professional representation of the company and brand internally and externally
10. Ensuring that both the customer and the company operate within all existing legislation including industry specific requirements;
11. Acting as point of support for Senior Corporate Sales Managers in the team, providing cover and general support for more complex calls and queries on a day-to-day basis.

Product, Services Knowledge required:
1. A detailed knowledge of the company’s specific and wider product
2. A broad knowledge of the product set of the company’s Bank Partners
3. Understanding of card scheme rules
4. Clear understanding of business unit’s objectives strategies and development programmes
5. Clear understanding of recruitment and risk policies within the company
6. An overview of communication options and costs between customer and the company as well as 3rd party software providers
